4/27 Day 41

We left Pearisburg early today. With all of the recent rain, all of our water crossings were flooded. We hiked most of the day on mountain ridges and with clear skies, we had great views of both Virginia and West Virginia. We even had a jet fly near the ridge at, what seemed, our elevation. We had a few big climbs for the day, the last one taking us up to Bailey Gap Shelter. We had one of the most beautiful days on the trail so far.
