We hiked the .2 miles back south to the Visitor Center to indulge in their breakfast buffet. Our hiking was slow today with some of the steepest continuous climbing we’d had to date. We climbed huge rock slabs over 4 peaks in the Wildcat range, one peak with gondola access to town. We ate lunch at Carter Notch Hut, the northernmost hut in the White Mountains. We hiked over Carter Dome, Mt. Hight, Middle Carter Mountain, North Carter Mountain and stealth camped near Imp Campsite. Our day was exhausting with a lot of technical hand-over-hand climbing. We hiked 12.6 miles.
