The Cabin owners, Honey and Bear, prepared blueberry pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice and coffee for us in the morning before we got back on the trail. The trail picked back up at the base of Wyman Mountain. We climbed Moody Mountain, 1,300 ft in less than one mile. We were exhausted and began to feel the effect of no real break since the Whites. We struggled with colds and exhaustion over Old Blue Mountain making these miles feel extremely long. We climbed Bemis Mountain and stayed at Bemis Mountain Shelter for the night. The shelter was listed in our guide as two miles south of where it actually was so we didn’t make it to camp until it was nearly dark. We hiked 17.1 miles.
