7/13 Day 118

We started our morning with a 2,000 ft climb to the summit of Saddleback Mountain. The summit was barren of trees and gave us spectacular views of southern Maine. From there we climbed The Horn and Saddleback Junior. Today was extremely humid and after lunch a group of hikers took a swim in Perham Stream to cool down before our climb up Lone Mountain. We stayed at Spaulding Mountain Shelter and planned out our last days on the trail. We hiked 16.9 miles.
